Teknik Döküm was founded in 1977 as a contract casting workshop for jewelers. Based on the experiences it gained in this field, it started manufacturing jewelery machines and equipment in 1985 to increase the efficiency in production processes. In the same year, it became the Turkish representative of the Italian CEIA company, one of the world s leading companies specializing in magnetic fields. In 1987, it held the Jewelery Foundry seminar for the first time in Turkey. Teknik Döküm, which introduced its designs abroad at fairs, made its first export to America in 1988. In the following years, it established many jewelry workshops at home and abroad and exported to more than 40 countries. It has contributed to the development of the Jewelery sector in Turkey with the seminars, training and education activities it has continued until today. In the 1990s, when CEIA focused on the production of metal detectors for security purposes, Teknik Döküm also stepped into the security sector. In 1997, it became the Turkish representative of Smiths Detection (HEIMANN), one of the world s leading X-Ray manufacturers, and supplied security systems for building and facility entrances, especially airports and passenger checkpoints. With the rapid growth of the aviation industry on a global scale in the 2000s, Teknik Döküm turned to expanding its production activities in this field. It offered solutions to reduce congestion at passenger checkpoints and improve passenger flow, especially by developing systems for the rapid transportation of suitcases, bags and packages. Teknik Döküm, which developed its own automatic basket transportation system in 2014, installed an automatic basket transportation system that is fully compatible with x-ray for the first time in an airport in South America in 2017. Continuing its work in the Jewelery, Security, Food Safety and Aviation sectors today, Teknik Döküm continues to deliver products and services to many countries from Chile to Australia, from Nigeria to Russia.
