SGM s.r.l. is a leading company in the production of machines for thermal deburring and has more than thirty years of experience (born in 1979 with the name of STM sas). SGM® now offers an integrated machine system for the entire cycle of pre-treatment, thermal deburring, final deoxidation and protection, with results that are highly competitive, with full respect for the environment. In this way SGM® is able to respond to the increasingly demanding requirements of the well-established third party sector as well as of the companies with bigger production volumes, which require the machines themselves. The thermal deburring is a system aimed at the elimination of burrs on the components made of oxidable materials and that come from specific processes (mechanical, die-casting, etc). The process uses, according to a chemical- physical principle, the heat generated from the ignition of a suitable combustible mixture, just as in the case of heat engines. The obtained energy uses the oxygen, contained in the original mixture, to remove burrs, waste and unwanted material present on the edges, within the cavities and surfaces more or less hidden of the treated details.
XP F (F = flexible) can deburr both components in cast iron, steel and ferrous alloys with a complete cycle (2 blows) and components in aluminum, copper, its alloys and zamak with a single cycle. The XP F is available both with a 260mm diameter chamber and variable length from 350mm to 500mm and operating pressure between 2 Bar and 20Bar, and with a 300mm diameter chamber and variable length from 420mm to 500mm and operating pressure between 2 Bar. and 15Bar; the size of the chamber is determined on the basis of the production needs of our customers. New-Tem deburring machines can be certified as conforming to INDUSTRY 4.0 measures. The machines can be served by robotic feeding systems or with automated or manual roller systems.
The XP XL Thermal Deburring Machine is designed for the deburring of large blocks of aluminum, steel and cast iron being able to use an operating pressure from 2 to 16 bar, it has a deburring chamber with a diameter of 410mm and a length of up to 600mm; also ideal for deburring very large quantities of iron components in bulk. New-Tem Deburring Machines can be certified as conforming to INDUSTRY 4.0 measures. The machines can be served by robotic feeding systems, with automated or manual roller systems according to customer requests.
The XP L Thermal Deburring Machine is designed for light alloys such as aluminum, zamak, copper and their alloys, with deburring chamber having internal diameter 260 mm and variable length from 360 to 500 mm; it works with operating pressures from 2 to 10 bar. It is particularly suitable for deburring large aluminum blocks. Very fast, it guarantees very high productivity. New-Tem Deburring Machines can be certified as conforming to INDUSTRY 4.0 measures.
