The company Sezgin Ticaret was established in 1956 in the Sıra Mağazalar district of Trabzon under the initiative of the late Muharrem Sezgin, and the trading life of the Sezgin Family began with the sale of hardware, hand tools, and ironmongery. In 1982, the first company established outside Trabzon, Sezginler Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., was founded by the late Mehmet Ziya Sezgin and began its operations in the Uluyol district of Bursa, shifting its focus to the machinery sector. Initially operating in the domestic market, Sezginler Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. turned its attention abroad, making its first export to Yugoslavia in 1984 and its first import from Italy in 1986. Since 2001, our company has concentrated its activities and imports in the field of Machine Tools, laying the foundations for Foreman, the famous brand of the sector today. Our active brands include - The Foreman brand is the oldest and most established brand in the field of machine tools. - The Paftar brand entered the lifting equipment sector in 2005 and has started to play an important role in the industry. - Our CNC machine tools produced under the Tazana brand have taken their place in the market in 2016. In 2013, our company moved to its new 5000 m2 center at Nilüfer Trade Center, offering Turkey s largest machine showroom to our customers. Hasan Sezgin, the third-generation member of the Sezgin family, continues to serve as the chairman of our company s board of directors.
