A CNC horizontal machining center is a CNC (Computer Aided Control) machine that moves the workpiece horizontally and performs machining operations. In horizontal machining centers, the cutting tool (drill bits, milling bits, etc.) moves while the workpiece is usually fixed.

CNC EDM Machines process material using the electrical discharge process. In this process, a wire or electrode material, called an electrode, is brought close to the surface of the workpiece and a high-voltage electric current is passed between them. This current erodes the surface of the material and creates the desired shape. The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) system controls the process according to programmed instructions and ensures that the workpiece is machined to the desired size and shape.
