Gühring Team Industry and Trade. Ltd. Sti., in 1988, Gühring oHG started its operations in Turkey as a branch of Germany. Between 1988-2000 Gühring offered its imports from Germany to its customers in Türkiye. In June 2000, production of carbide tools and aftermarket grinding coatings started in Türkiye under the license of Gühring Germany. In July 2001, our state-of-the-art coating facility became operational. In 2002-2004, production capacity and employment were increased with the investments made. New investments are still continuing within our organization. In 2008, a production and coating facility was established in Izmir. Currently, production continues with 8 5-axis CNC machines, 4 grinding machines and 3 5-axis sharpening benches. Our company consists of 3 main units Special and Standard Tool Production Coating Plant Sales and Marketing Unit (Import-Export and Customer Service)
To prevent material from sticking to the drill s cutting edges during drilling, Gühring has opted for particularly smooth tool surfaces on the RT 100 InoxPro. Polished flutes and top surface quality in the web thinning improve chip removal and minimise the formation of built-up edges. The tool is also coated with Gühring s own Perrox coating, which is particularly smooth and offers very high wear protection.
Gühring presents the solution to this problem: fluteless taps that combine wear resistance with toughness. The concept consists of a steel shank (HSS-E) and an exchangeable thread head made of carbide with an AICrN coating. Both components are connected via a screw.
